Her Unspoken Love

Alexandra's memoirs start when she was a very young child. Reading page after page, this book reminds the readers of "Angela's ashes", a book that brought us to tears because of its very funny, or very sad content. The "Unspoken Love" is a book with vivid mind pictures, like
"Sophie's choice" for example. However, the main character of this book stayed at a "refugee camp", not a "concentration camp". Different times, different "camps"!

The main character is a young girl who travels from continent to continent because her mother wanted a better, easier life for her children. The book refers to the struggles and tenacity of a mother who would sacrifice everything to give her children a better life, in parallel with her daughter's own struggles and devotion to her mother's unspoken love.
